There was a crnnge movie called Mela. Then Thugs of Hindustan replaced it with it's height of Cringnes. Now came Adipurush. Especially my son was excited to see it and man, what a disappointment. He is 11 ys of age and even he said that "Papa, this is how people of that time used to talk?" Check this out.... Kapda tere baap Ka, Tel tere baap Ka, to jalegi bhi tere baap ki. Wait... few more. "Jo hamari maa behen ko hath lagaega, hum uska Lanka laga denge." I can go on for at least 10-15 mnts on these dialogues. No effort made to create an emotional development of any character. First half there is hardly any dialogues. Except Lakshman and Sita talking for some time. Clothing was pathetic. VFX, supposed to be the high point was flat dead. But the worst part is not clothing or dialogue or vfx or anything... The worst is that every scene depicted in Adipurush is a lie. Starting from Shoorpnakha where they shown her nose cut but the way they shown, it was wrong, Sita abduction using a bat? Jatayu had one word dialogue.. "Ravan" Lakshman was saved by Vibhisan wife, Seriously? It was supposed to be the "Sone ki Lanka". But Lanka felt like a set from Lord of the ring. On top of it, the acting by Prabhas, Saif, Sunny and Kriti is not just flat... it dips down further and makes a hole inside a flat surface. The expression of few computer generated Vanar was better than them. The only savior in the whole 3 hrs of cringeworthy, badly written, badly edited movie was it's Music. For that I have Spotify app premium. U don't need to go to theatre to listen to it.
