(Spoiler Alert) I feel like this movie had the potential to be great, and don’t get me wrong, every scene including the Addams family characters was fantastic, but everything outside of the spooky, kooky, and ooky family was just budgeted filler that felt like an overglorified sequel to the Minions movie. The animation in the town of Assimilation lacked atmosphere and shadowing in points, and it looked lazy. The plot line was basic and it lacked any depth in terms of story. However, I cannot review this without mentioning that the character designs for the family were some of the best I’ve seen. All seem to capture their personality traits flawlessly. For those who haven’t seen it, I’d go in with low expectations, but this movie certainly has some pros to it. 6/10 in my book
