I grew up on aretha. Seen her preform in person. Read her book from these roots that aretha wrote. When you look at her interviews and hear what she said compared to the movie. It was nothing like the movie. I understand the writters can't put everything in it. I did not see nor hear anything she said. What blew me was she became pregnant at 12. No one said a word about it
