A very old-school feel, in that there's no map, no mini-map, and you have to remember where to go through dialogue and discoveries. The combat is the worst part of this game. And I mean, it isn't good. It feels rushed and unfinished. Just be forewarned. The world and story are great. The graphics and world look amazing, but damn. The combat really ruins it all.

If you’re willing to put in the time and learn the game mechanics well, you’ll have a good time. This game is punishing in a souls sense. Getting better at parrying and avoiding attacks is key to everything. Learn the level layout, open up short cuts and finish the boss with losing as little age as possible. The upgrade system is weak imo, forcing you to buy the same upgrade multiple times before permanently unlocking them. Graphics are colourful but nothing impressive. They fit the art style of the overall game. It’s good but the extreme difficulty will turn off casual gamers looking to try it. If you like souls games, this is for you.
