Inquisitor Bobdole

I really did not enjoy it. This feels like a self insert power fantasy rather than an action movie. The nazis actively CHOOSE to not kill korpi. There is at least 7 times where they have the chance to kill him but actively choose not to to try and sell this idea of "sisu" and make him look more unkillable than he actually is. Near the end the nazi officer even asks "Why won't you die" But every other line in this movie is the officer saying or motioning to his troops to not shoot korpi for no reason. At the start they have the chance to just shoot him in the back but don't because the officer says not to. Some nazis have him at gunpoint but decide to walk into smelling range instead of using their guns. A nazi who catches him by surprise from behind tries to choke him rather than shoot him with the pistol he has which ends up getting him killed when korpi shoots the nazi in the foot with said pistol Korpi's horse steps on a landmine and the nazis all watch him pick up his gold rather than shoot him at point blank because the officer says not to shoot. Korpi tries to run away but gets shot in the leg by the second in command...and instead of finishing him off the officer motions to stop shooting. Instead of waiting for korpi to tire himself out and drown in a lake the officer sends a boat out which ultimately helps korpi escape. They finally capture korpi and instead of killing him they instead hang him which somehow he survives Korpi is thrown onto the ground in a struggle with the second in command and instead of shooting him the officer tells the tank driver to keep driving. Two nazis in a bike with an LMG mounted on it drive up to korpi beating up the second in command and instead of shooting him, korpi makes a cringey growl and they both get out of the bike, grab their guns and run away. In the cockpit battle the officer has basically won the fight and instead of picking up the gun to shoot korpi he instead tries to keep punching korpi. I understand suspending logic and belief but it's actively rotting my brain.
