Boring in every way. Visually dull and poorly styled, even though it thinks it’s being sophisticated. Simplicity does not always equal elegance. Bludgeons the audience with its message, though it really doesn’t say anything worthwhile. Terrible ending. Only interesting point, unintentional or not, is the arrangement of characters at the end and the statue of the Pieta in Channing’s room. A lick of interest and nuance, perhaps? Or maybe that’s just expecting too much from this insipid “ thriller”. It’s a mashup of so many better movies that have been already made.
