WARNING! MY REVIEW HAS SPOILERS! I have been a fan of Superman my entire life. My favorite Superman will always be Christopher Reeve. The 2025 version is by far my least favorite. From the beginning of the film I had concerns. The way he flies was weird and it looked terrible. As much as I have enjoyed James Gunn and most of his previous films. I think he did a huge disservice to Superman. WARNING BIG SPOILER The majority of this movie was Lex Luther beating the crap out of Superman. My recent disappointment on James Gunn. Ever since he became the CEO at DC. He chose to disrespect another very popular character, Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot. He’s allowed Bret Radner’s production company to continue profiting off of the Wonder Woman franchise. Bret Radner fled to Israel because he was accused of sexual assault from many women. Gal Gadot has openly refused to work with DC (she has every right to be mad) because of that connection. I don’t know if James Gunn has any authority over what production companies can profit from. I hope he doesn’t, because I’ve enjoyed most of his work.
