I kept avoiding this movie, not sure why. Maybe I was wondering if they would do the true tale justice, or how they would fill nearly 2.5 hours with the story but they did and they did it well. Heartwarming, nail biting (so glad I knew the outcome already) and emotional. I’m so glad I gave in and watched it. Well worth it.

I’m all for a no brainer, easy watch rom com. It was a Friday night, hubby away, I thought let’s give this a go. Ugh! DO NOT BOTHER. If I’m watching a movie like this I have low expectations but I think this is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever watched. The storyline was bad and the acting atrocious! It did not make me laugh, it did not make me cry it just made me cringe. Don’t waste the hour and a half I did. T e r r I b l e!

This is a terrible movie. Don’t waste your time. I’m all for a good chick flick, even the oldie chick flicks but this is just bad. Bad story and really bad acting.

The only reason I didn’t give this ZERO stars is because it doesn’t allow you to. I only wish I’d read all the reviews before I watched it. I love a good British crime drama but I suppose good is the key word, this was far from good it was abysmal! The characters are horrible, the acting atrocious and the storyline, don’t get me started. Why oh why I watched it to the end I’ll never know. If you’re reading this before you watch it, listen to all the people that give it one star and give it a wide birth, I wish I had.
