I ignored Kanye's music up until two months ago without ever really trying it. I thought the hip hop I came up on, the generation x brand, was done for. I'm glad I was wrong, I'm glad he took our music back from Eminem. Kanye is the exact embodiment of that 90s era hip hop; how swiftly he transcended it. This ultimately heart breaking documentary is the best compliment to my newfound love of everything Kanye. Respect to Coodie and his crew, rest in peace, Donda.
