As a newcomer to the witcher franchise, I'm not already a fan watching the show. After reading the reviews, I'm assuming this is the reason I don't think the show is amazing by any standard. It's very slow and takes a lot of effort to keep watching (on episode 5- 7th day). If I weren't a Henry Cavill fan, I would have already given up.
