I've had many of conversations around this show. So many close friends hated this show. But I sat down to watch all of Naruto, Shippuden, and now Boruto, and nearing the end of it all, as the climax closes on ep 296. I've come to appreciate and love this show as a continuation of something I held special to me for a long time. The show is imperfect, but features a world I know and plays into my nostalgia and the stories carry new weight, new stories and new moral questions. Even though the entirety of the show is slow and full of side content. It makes sense overall to the narrative. The world saw peace, a new threat looms and teachers are heroes and better than ever. The characters get powerful, old characters carry weight and their stories continue and matter and have gravity on the world that feels justified and logical. I personally recommend the show to new and old fans. The constant negativity makes me sad, but this isn't Naruto, it's Boruto, and even on it's on is a fine show worth watching. But a new viewer should never start here, fall in love, feel the pain, and see how the world is afflicted. 4/5 but realistically a 70/100 to put things into perspective a little clearer. I'd say watch it.
