'The Chair' is a story of a woman who recently became a team lead, and the work challenges she handles. Its makes a few remarks about women in old professions, but doesn't pontificate. I did not expect this show to cater to every nuanced experience that every woman or person of color has ever experienced in history. Instead, I viewed this as a single story of Dr.Ji-Yoon. I trust to see more stories from different perspectives to cover the gamit of experiences in this world. The challenge and tone of work issues have felt relatable to real-world, so was fun to see this Dr.Ji-Yoon address them.

Movie was interesting in that it forced you to stick around to uncover what happened, and extremely disturbing when you find out. I felt like I witnessed mentally ill people behave in the most bizzare way and they sincerely need help. And now so do I after watching this movie. It does not leave you feeling inspired or any positive vibes. Rating it high (3.5-4) assuming it was meant to be a disturbing portrayal of bizarre desperation.
