Its not about what's right or wrong. Its just a modern perspective about coming to age, growing up, owning your decisions and adulting. Refreshing to see a different take on life, love, being an independent female (and male) and navigating societal & cultural pressures. Highly relatable modern day take on the realism in today's adult romance, partnerships and defining the concept of "matrimonial" accountabilities and responsibilities of the 21st century. I am now so tired of always seeing women in supporting/back roles serving their men coffee and toiling away in the kitchen or taking care of the household chorus and kids in most Indian films...far from the truth about most of the dual income couples living our lives today. This movie is closer to the relative truth of educated, civilised and culturally evolved bold south indian women and men of today. And it's highly relatable. Highly recommended. (P.S.: Ammas, appas, mami, mamas, chattis, chittappas, perimas and peripas- please go easy on yourselves as you watch this - not bashing your way of life - just embracing the evolution of our lives.)
