These days, with the reporting on the extreme heat because of climate change, it would be good if the very distressed reporters (based on the large number of exclamation points in their voices) said what they themselves are actually _doing_ about it. I suspect they lead typical consumerist lives. If nobody, not even them, is doing anything, then what's the use of ranting?
