I believe the coverage of important events and information on the CBC is second to none - not just in this country - but globally. My only complaint is the steady erosion of thoughtful comment dialogue on the site's news stories. The CBC has allowed its comment section to become yet another right-wing echo-chamber, with views that contradict the line being put forward by a very vocal minority drowning out serious conversation, especially when reading stories connected with the Covid pandemic. Moreover, anyone defending science, rational thought, or indeed, the role of the CBC, is "moderated" out of the conversation.
