Pogle's Wife

I loved watching Outrageous for so many reasons. I've read many books about The Mitford Sisters including one which is a compilation of letters they wrote to each other. I wondered before I watched it if it would follow their real lives or if I'd be disappointed at over dramatisation or possubly some glossing over Diana and Unity's unswerving support of fascism and Jessica running off to support the communists in Spain. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. I thought it was brilliantly scripted and acted and the period costumes and props etc were very good. I think it ought to be made more clear that this is not a made up story but it is what actually happened to the 6 sisters. Hoping there'll be another series as I didn't realise there were only 6 episodes so I've just gone to watch the next episode (knowing there's so much more to be told) and was disappointed to realise I've got to wait.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching Peter Davison in Campion. I love crime dramas especially those set in the early to mid 20th century. This is easy watching, humouress and Peter Davison wins hands down over Suchet as Poirot for a bit of day dreaming
