this movie. wow. this is the first time I've ever taken time out to write a review for a movie. I'm not gonna lie, the ending was a bit gut-wrenching but I liked that it ended that way. it had the intended effect, it really showed that no matter if she was taking the efforts to talk to her therapist or mending her relationship with her mom, the trauma is stuck there. It's still there. no matter what you do, that moment can't be taken back. I remember seeing Megan Park in a cinderella story when I was younger and could've never imagined her directing and creating a movie so captivation, emotion inducing, and so REAL. here have only been a couple moments in my life where I have watched a movie that is REAL, and this was REAL. The conversations, the relationships, the emotions, everything was real. my prayers go out to all those that have lost their loved ones or witnessed a school shooting.
we need to do better, we HAVE TO do better.
