I was surprised at the lack of “good” reviews on this moving. Bird box is definitely a thrilling movie and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Aside from the stereotypical stupid horror movie people I found that this movie had more realistic reactions to the coming threat. That’s what kept me watching it, usually I’ll just get bored when the main character starts doing things that are obviously the wrong move, but in this movie Sandra Bullock does a great job of making everything seem like she at least had the right idea. Sandra Bullock has a very different roll in this movie then I’ve ever seen before. I’m used to her comedy movies. This movie is definitely not a comedy and is pretty serious. So if you’re looking for a light hearted Sandra Bullock movie this is definitely not the movie for you. All in all I would personally give this movie a 4/5 rating.
