Surprisingly Realistic
I started watching it with a thought that it would be based on wedding planning, songs, and stories, which it was. But, I was surprised that it was just a backdrop to a much, much-nuanced storyline. All under the wedding shenanigans and extravaganza lie a much deeper concept of the how the world operates in the setting it's shown, all the while dealing with sensitive issues like homosexuality, infidelity, patriarchy, rich suppressing poor, dowry, women oppression, the status and class matters, and much more. This one sure depicts the reality of how F**CKED UP the inner life dealings and the world is around you. And that what seems on the outside is just a facade.
