Steve Coogan is incredible in this drama. At times I have to convince myself that it’s not really Jimmy Savile I am watching and hearing. I believe this is a programme that had to be made. For too long predators like Savile were allowed to operate in plain sight. When I was a teenager watching TOTP I didn’t watch if it was Savile presenting. I found him repulsive although I couldn’t say why. My friends all felt the same. A 5 star production. Tremendous performances by everyone and congratulations to production and directing staff for an excellent portrayal of this man. I have huge respect for his victims who so bravely appeared and gave their approval to The Reckoning.
