I was a bit wary of the 'modernization' of Trek, and how this would be applied to Picard - I was, pleasantly surprised. It seems to maintain the feeling of "old Trek" whilst allowing it to be modernized in a palatable way.
I don't want to spoil anything, go give it a watch.
