There is very little science in this documentary.
It is mostly a random mix of fictional action and emotional moments (often completely making up animal behaviour for the sake of fictional impact), clearly putting most of the effort on visual impact.
Such format could be good for kids, to stimulate their interest on these topics and to teach them something along the way. But unfortunately this documentary is extremely confusing, as it constantly jumps back and forth from one age to another.
It is a shame that so much effort and money have been wasted to make such a poor product, which fails to be a documentary for adults as well as for kids, and ends up being a meaningless collection of short fictional stories about extinct animals, with a sprinkle of science trivia scattered here and there in a confusing manner.
