So much potential to really say so much more. Slow burn for an hour, with not enough explanation as to how or why. Some nice little digs, like Jesse Plemons pronouncing "China" ala Trump. Pretty sad to think that the writer/director believes that American citizens and soldiers would just resort to indiscriminate murder of unarmed persons surrendering or merely based on racial background. As one of the other reviewers remarked, no military rules of engagement? As for gentlemanly acceptance of surrender... Poor old Dwight Eisenhower and Douglas Macarthur would be rolling in their graves.
