Dennis Bridgeforth

I like this movie for several reasons. The storyline is very good and the chemistry of the returning cast, especially the brothers, is fabulous. There are a lot of action scenes, no real complaints there....one very slight negative in my opinion, is the comedy. Humorous moments in the first movie enhanced it and I think if this one used them in the same way it would be a little better movie. As it is, I think there is a little too much of an effort to present comedy. All in all, a very good movie.

Ok, I will go to the big comparison right away: Will Trent / Monk. There are similarities and both series are worth watching, but in my opinion, Monk is superior. Trent started out pretty strongly but I feel like it wanted by the end of season one. There is room for strengthening a couple of the characters but there is also a need to eliminate one or two that serve no purpose that improves the show. I will continue to watch for awhile and feel comfortable with the four star rating as of now but I may feel differently by the end of season two if the ship isn't righted

This is often mentioned as the worst of the Star Trek movies, I greatly disagree with that opinion. I won't say it is the best (my opinion, II and VI top the group) but Nemesis is certainly a far better movie than V, pretty equal to three or four of the others. The final battle scenes were well done and the farewell to Data story line was pretty great. If you haven't seen this movie yet, ignore the naysayers and give it a watch. You will not be disappointed.
