Absolutely brilliant. The first movie was perfect, it almost feels impossible to create some thing, just as good or even better, but leave it to Tim Burton to create pure, weird magic. This man is absolutely brilliant, from the concept of the story all the way to the sets and cast… just brilliant. I love that we’re able to know where what has become of the Deetz through the years. Lydia’s growth as a person and remembering the badass she is. I think this is the part I loved the most. As a weird kid growing up, where do you stand 20-30 years later? How things in life change us and sometimes we forget how badass we were. And Astrid’s story line was awesome too. It tied in together so well. Ugh, so good! Loved it. Absolutely loved it.
