An amazing film. I was captivated by Emma Thompson's acting and by the wit of the film, her character’s regrets as she watches the worst of her own characteristics demonstrated by the resident doctor who attends to her. There is the bonus of John Donne's poetry , his approach to death becomes a parallel soundtrack to te events of the movie. It is a beautiful film.
