This book is captivating. It has great detail, but not to much to ruin the story. The book opens your eyes to the horrific events of Pearl Harbor, in a way that is so understandable. Audrey is self reliant and capable of taking care of herself. But learns that the care of other people makes life much sweeter. There are many wonderful friendships and real life experiences. The flying that these woman have done is so adventurous and breath taking. There is genuine moral respect and vulnerability, that is refreshing from so many books with no moral compass.
Looking forward to many more books from this author.
