This seriously is the worst edition I’ve played in over 10 years. We have to appreciate that obviously graphically the game is going to be better than a decade ago but thing is, like a lot of people I’ve played footy since a kid, it’s not rocket since hence the games years ago encapsulated football a lot better. I know it’s not meant to be a simulation but everything is going backward with the franchise. Career mode is dull, have a shocking ui and the revamped youth academy is an embarrassment, you have a bunch of non human no binary creature looking things that don’t age (like they said, lying is typical of ea) Ultimate team/online is just dreadful, you play 5-10 games this year and I’m sure you will uninstall like I have. I even hated squad battles which I usually like for chilling, 12 games of ai that hasn’t changed for many years, albeit they manage to make the ai react faster and abuse the player more and more each year. I mean how incredibly uncreative do you have to be to say, oh let’s make it more difficult by boosting all player stats…so on world class a bronze striker has 99 defending and defends better than my actual defenders, and they can slide around the pitch defying physics because the game engine is so inappropriate for the game by boosting stats it just creates a mess where all logic goes out the window. The game is so bad it is actually offensive, I pray that somehow everyone who makes up EA sports will evaporate and then the world will be a better place for all football and gaming lovers of all ages
