Entertaining enough, art is beatiful and clearly a lot of hard work went into the making of this show. Just know that the storyline doesn't really follow the culture setting. It's basically a show that takes place in a more collectivistic society, but the plot is individualistically focused. However, the show might not have been easily understood (for western audience, west = individualistic oriented) otherwise, so the individualistic characters and plot choice makes sense for the success of the show. It's fun and worth watching; just don't take any history or cultural portrayal as any literal history lessons.

If you are someone who needs a realistically coherent plot to enjoy the movie you are watching then I do NOT recommend this film. However, if you want to watch Adam Driver, dinosaurs, nature, and some sci-fi tech in a movie format than give this a go! I want to preface that I liked the OG jurassic park movies but I was very open minded about how this film interpreted dinosaurs. Personally my mind felt too distracted about what I perceive as major plot holes at nearly every scene. I ended up fast forwarding 10sec throughout the film to try to get to a “good part.” Overall I was disappointed about the film, but I enjoyed watching Adam Driver in this role.
