A bunch of mecha anime meets Fire Emblem, with some more customization. Obviously, fans of the mecha series will get a lot more enjoyment out of all the over the top attacks and callbacks but the gameplay is still quite good for a srpg. One thing I feel that was hard to appreciate until now is the plot. The writers actually go out of their way to entwine all the narratives of the individual shows together in a somewhat coherent way. And now with Banpresto releassing the Asian version with English subtitles, English speakers can finally enjoy that plot. As of the time of this review, the game has been out for awhile and the game can be picked up pretty cheap. So if you enjoy srpgs and are fans of any of the anime series within, consider picking it up.
