Emmerdale was my favourite soap, but it really has lost everything. Robert leaving, and the way they handled Aaron after that was just the tipping point. After so many years together of ups and down, how do they expect us to believe that Aaron just gave up so easily? it would have been nice to explore Aaron fighting for Rob, trying to see his step-son and doing everything in his power to make things right but it seems like the writers just forgot about Robert in the span of three episodes and so did Aaron - how is that possible? the two were madly in love AND MARRIED! It's beyond me, the only way im watching it again is if Rob comes back.
