Jurassic World Dominion suffers from pacing problems, lack of character development, and an unwillingness to let anything breathe in between moments of intense dinosaur action but great performances from Bryce Dallas Howard and the charming Chris Pratt at the best they've been this trilogy and the stellar return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum as Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm together in a Jurassic film again check off JUST enough boxes to be an thrilling adventure.
Jurassic World Dominion isn't the original Jurassic Park and that level of perfection may never be reached again, but it isn't trying to be. It is a big, loud, and kind of convoluted Hollywood blockbuster film through and through but it's enough of a Michael Crichton-esque cautionary tale with some real heart in it that should resonate with folks of all ages and of course, tons of dinosaur mayhem (and wonder) for the kids and kids at heart.
