I’m sure this show is probably pretty entertaining and funny, but I watched 5 minutes and it was all about white vs black and how white people can do whatever they want without it affecting their ability to become successful while black people have to be perfect in life or they ruin their chance at success. This narrative is frustrating because we will never live in a world of equality as long as shows like this exist. I think it was Morgan Freeman who said that as long as people continue to bring up race and talk about it, it will never go away. Nobody gets to choose the color of their skin and it has absolutely no bearing on the type of person you are. I just hope one day this narrative doesn’t exist and the world learns how to treat people the right way and not stereotype people based on things they have no control over without taking the time to actually get to know and understand them.
