Yes, it is educational it enhances "Writing" in chat, book and quill, and signs. "Math" finding how much materials you need for the items you need to craft, and coordinates. "History" in the past we used a book and quill for books, and achievements like the stone age and how we progress from what tools and items to the next set, and villages where would trade stuff with people as we move and protect the villagers from raids or run away yourself. "Creativity" you can do anything you choose to do in Minecraft everything is your own accord or with your friends
