A real disappointment. This series has little to no resemblance to Isaac Asimov’s classic series. Essentially, the creators of this confused and overly complicated series merely ripped off the title and character names of Isaac Asimov‘s work. The foundation TV series is it entirely different story and not an interesting one at that. The characters are unsympathetic, the story is convoluted and the narrative continues to disappoint week after week. After years of hoping that the story will be told well, it is now clear that Asimov’s classic science-fiction series will never be brought to the screen. Too bad, because it’s a great story. I’m sure Isaac‘s descendants made a bunch of money from this. But in many ways they damaged a great writer’s legacy. If you never see this television series, you haven’t missed anything.
