The reviews really highlight for me how people want women to take responsibility for EVERYTHING! All this women did was write in her journal. Her husband read it, which he should not have, and the entire series follows his reactions to reading her private words from her journal. I had high hopes for a project that would look at a woman’s perspective on marriage. Season started off exciting but got a little weird mid season and didn’t finish strong. That being said, I can’t believe how many people blame the wife for everything that transpired when she simple wrote in her journal.
