Beware: The five-star reviews that include amazement over the fight scenes could have been written by people who have never seen a film or a live fight. Let’s get more realistic:
If you have watched everything on Netflix and are stuck in bed for medical reasons, this movie can help pass the time. The fight scenes are comical for their unrealistic absurdity and sound effects. In one scene, two men attack Sara and Irena—yet Irena, who has no fight training, somehow manages to hold her own. At times, it feels like the fight in the background pauses, as if they’re waiting for Sara to finish with the main opponent. Despite having a clear advantage and several minutes to overpower Irena, the attacker never really does anything, which makes her survival feel unearned and implausible. The pallet stacked with cleaning supplies and chemicals featured graphics that looked cartoonish and unconvincing. It’s possible the art director or prop master had their attention elsewhere, which is understandable on a low-budget production. The acting wasn’t terrible, but the script needed help. There was no development of the relationship between Sara and Irena, which made the emotional tone of the ending—where Sara prepares to fly with her son to visit Irena—feel completely unearned. Sara’s ability to scale buildings on inch-wide window trim was incredible. She should have been wearing a cape and some magical shoes with oversized springs as well. The shoes could possess a stickiness that could hold her weight. I would also have appreciated if some special effect ‘boing’ noises were added when she jumped. Perhaps some intense sticky peeling noises would be cool while she scaled the building sideways. The shoes could have volume control that she could adjust for stealth interior scenes.

Misogynistic, a 27 yr old cast as a high schooler.. so stupid , terrible effects and dialogue. What a waste of money.
