Storytelling at its finest. I'm not a movie reviewer guru, but this one does a powerful job of placing the viewer in the shoes of an often maligned class. It makes powerful statements, without any accompanying soundtrack, simply by showing the hard realities of life on the streets. And most importantly, the film excels in showing the humanity of its main characters and that they also share the common hopes and values of humanity even though society may be loath to think so. At the conclusion, there is a powerful juxtaposition of values and societal classes, an unspoken, yet powerful commentary that hits hard and resonates. A moving film and one I won't easily forget. One of the best movies I have watched!
