To parrot the other comments, the game has potential to be enjoyable, but the bugs make it unplayable.
Others here have spoken to the multiplayer issues. I'm here to talk about a glaring single player issue...
While actively playing the game, your character will randomly stop moving. It's not due to an elemental effect, or any otherwise understandable reason - it's a bug that prevents the player from making any movement at all. After 3-5 seconds or so, the game snaps out of it and you have control again. By then, though, you've taken A LOT of damage or you've died.
The audacity of the dev team to think this bug-riddled "game" is worth $30 is absolutely wild.
If Switch allowed returns, they'd have this game back in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with it. But, maybe I can still save you!
Unless they release a major patch, or you can get it on sale for 5 bucks, the game simply isn't worth its $30 price tag.
