It was the ending I was hoping for. I was team Apollo till I read 1/3 of the book. SPOILERS. People are complaining about the loose ends but I think that’s kinda the point. The mother always said happily ever after is never the end there’s always questions about the evil stepsister coming back to ruin it or what happened to the villain etc this isn’t the end but the start of whatever is to come and let’s face it she probably can’t go a week without getting into some life threatening situation she could hardly stay out of trouble for 2 pages. I’m assuming she can be immortal by using one of the stones in the arches. Anyway I think all the open ends leave room for more potential books on the side characters and what happened to them etc. only thing I didn’t enjoy was that the author constantly used the same situation but just flipped it on the other character right after each other. Eg jack gets bitten and 10 pages later she needs to get bitten. She gets seriously injured and then as soon as she’s healed he gets seriously stabbed right after it was a bit lazy.
