Alan Carr helped me stop smoking in 1993 and I never looked back so I hoped his book about losing weight would be just as helpful. It was unfortunately a false hope. It's good for guidance on healthy eating and encourages the reduction in meat and fish consumption but other than that makes some claims about what we are naturally meant to eat and how to eat it, which I feel are inaccurate to say the least. I'm sure it will be of help to someone who has not explored different cuisines or may be unable to cook well or have a very bland diet or want to be a vegan/vegetarian but it's not for me at all.
