Ushered for this film today . It definitely wasn’t up to the hype it’s got and al l my friends wanting to see it. We’re a bit behind in Chichester, . It was ok but I became exasperated by him . The film I ushered for before was Tish before j was brilliant .

Just reading for the second time for the bookgroup I run.I couldn’t put it down even though I knew the ending. It’s certainly a page turner. Beautifully written, very clever observations , many varied themes including love, loss, different types of love, effects of war on those left behind, the rigid class system breaking down after the war along with the changing of women’s role . Read her others as they’re all amazing
