Let me preface this by saying, I rarely write reviews about movies. But I wanted to share my experience watching this movie with others. There are good movies, there are bad movies and then there are movies pretending to be good with a big suspense just around the corner. Long legs is without question a very well made movie which lacks utterly in any flair or substance. The narration is unnecessarily slow and puts the audience in a state of misery where they want to see where this is leading but kills any chance of satisfaction or content after watching it. This is neither a fully fledged horror movie, nor this is a pure psychological thriller. Nicolas Cage has portrayed yet another annoying character that has mental issues. The cinematography is extremely good which is about the only thing good about this movie but it is very repetitive with the red shades and flashbacks, using 70s filters to death and it’s underwhelming depiction of character development. If you ever heard someone praising this movie, consider them as wannabe high society entrants among movie buffs. No one with half a brain can sit through this movie and enjoy it.
