Disappointed is an understatement. It didn’t take me long to realise I’d wasted my money but I persisted. What the heck is the 9th story about??? Section7(a) (Operational) Ramblings that never ended. I’ve loved Lee Cild but something’s not right here, it’s round and round the mulberry bush stories with very little substance. I agree with others, and I wouldn’t lend it to friends, I like them too much.

The excitement of buying a new Jack Reacher book is over for me, after many years. It was hard work to keep reading it when it was obvious after around 20 pages that the Jack Reacher buzz was over, and not the first time sorry to say. So much unnecessary dialogue that didn’t even sound like him. Where has the mystery gone.
