It captures the intense and the more honest part of relationships and most importantly individuality within relationships. The film itself should speak, devoid of the characters, the message is raw but displays how every moment can break and mend the characters and like them, the audienc will have grown every few minutes in this emotionally claustrophobic yet well articulated representation of the world today and its relationships. With black and white toning, it's cunningly provocative cinematic experience, forcing the audience to remain captivated with their heads under water, longing for air, and yet the issue is never resolved but righteously so, because who wants a happy ending to an "authentic" experience? It would be unsatisfying. All in all, it's a great film and the strong acting of both Zendaya and John David further electrified the whole experience, giving it texture and feel, they in many ways humanified the brilliant creative process of the writers and the directors. Kudos to the cinematographer and the musical director as well. Very very impressive.
