I took my mum to see Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy tonight. I was finishing high school when we saw the first one. Now I’m a mum myself. I wasn’t sure what to expect after Bridget Jones Baby because that one just didn’t work - especially with how much they changed it from the book - but I felt positive because Hugh Grant was back, and Leo Woodall has mesmerised in each show I saw him in (White Lotus, One Day, Vampire Academy). From the first scene of this movie I knew it was good. I haven’t laughed so much at a new romcom in years - both mum and I laughed, we cried and we laughed again. Lots of call backs without being too cheesy - they gave a proper tribute to all the cast, and lowered the Bridget Jones ridiculous factor to believable amounts which really helped the watchability. It was such a great film. Hugh Grant was fantastic, so was Renee and Leo and all the cast. Anyone who loved the original is sure to be really satisfied with this finale movie 🌞♥️

We couldn’t even get through the whole movie. I really expected it to be better with Julia and George as the stars. The start is somewhat funny and there are parts in Bali that had potential. But it’s just got so many cheesy tropes thrown in and makes a gorgeous French actor look like a buffoon it became too painful to watch …

Come for Neil Patrick Harris… stay for the jaw dropping apartments! A fun show with an excellent cast and even though it’s very pop-style it still delves deeper into unexplored territory then most commercial television. Definitely hoping for season 2!!

This movie had everything! The old school cast, new school, amazing dinosaurs, beautiful scenery, and sarcastic quips by Jeff Goldblum. It surpassed my high expectations. It has so many shout outs to the original movie. You probably have to be an OG Jurassic park fan to enjoy it as much as I did but omg did I love it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Loved it . The beasts are beautiful . Dream like movie- 2.5 hours flew by
