Once I got past the horrible dialogue and virtue signaling, the game became fun and the combat is enjoyable. The worst part about this game is the dialogue. It’s like everyone is talking to their boss or Human Resources at their job. Very tamed behaviors which differ from previous entries. Kills the immersion when you choose to be evil with a dialogue option and the main character is still very nice about it. Everyone is very optimistic and light hearted but you’re surrounded by dead bodies and blight. Doesn’t make a ton of sense. Outside of that, the game is enjoyable, even if it’s geared toward a younger, newer fan base, especially with the whimsical appearance it takes on in this installment. It gets a 4 star from me. The armor with no shoes was a horrible decision. My character isn’t even dalish, again doesn’t make a ton of sense.
