I feel like the writers and producers wanted to create a funny sitcom and that was not made the jokes aren’t funny and I think after the dead of George everyone wanted to see a more grown up version of Georgie in big band theory Georgie was telling Sheldon how he had to take charge now that there father was gone but this isn’t the impression I get from watching this series. It also seems like in episode 2 when George is at his fathers grave the didn’t put the laughing in the background although there was some sort of jokes trying to be made.
