I literally have never left a review on a movie until this very moment. For clarification, i’m 20, and am the intended audience for this movie. I’m not sure why this movie has such good reviews. I disliked this movie very much and wish I could get back the last hour and half of my life. I saw the movie when it came out, but forgot the plot and decided to rewatch it again tn. All I have to say is: the actor’s ages are unrealistic and they don’t look like HS seniors, the music is mediocre, it’s full of several unrealistic “HS” events, the plot could have went a million different ways and could have ended a million different ways, but the story writers chose the only one that could possibly p*ss me off. I get the whole “stop bullying message”, but I truly feel like “Juliet”, the girl being bullied in the movie, was impossible to like. She was just completely irrational through almost the whole movie. At the end when the main character says “no, you saved me” I nearly through my phone at the TV. I just truly feel like the ending was unbelievably unrealistic. *SPOILER* LIKE SHE KNEW THE FREAKING TRUCK WAS COMING. 1. WHY ARE U HAVING THE CONVERSATION NEXT TO THE ROAD 2. YOUR NOT SAYING NEARLY ENOUGH TO CONVINCE SOMEONE TO NOT COMMIT 3. WHY WOULDN’T U TACKLE HER OR GRAB HER ANKLES 4. WHY DID YOU WAIT TILL 30 SECONDS BEFORE THE TRUCK TO TALK, RATHER THAN AT SCHOOL EARLIER IN THE DAY, SINCE YOU’RE THERE FOR 7 HOURS!!!!! There’s a lot more I disliked, but that’s the surface.
