Some good cinematography, acting and serviceable story nearly destroyed by bad editing. Frustrating, because it could have been better (and should have been).

I only discovered this a few weeks ago, and it's instantly one of the best rock albums of all time, from one of Rocks most underestimated artists.
Yes, we have Beck, Clapton, Lommi, and McCready, but the biggest surprise is Zack Wylde. He's like the cookie dough that binds everything together, with his rhythm work (and amazing solo stuff himself). He deserves his place among the worlds great guitarists.
On top of it all is some songwriting that could be Ozzy's best work to date. I'm still picking up pieces of my brain from my first listen. I can only hope for an "Ozzy and Friends - Part 2" before time puts an end to an amazing career.

Funny how life works.
I lost my one Love in May, and I just started listening to this FOR THE FIRST TIME less than two months ago. This hits hard. Real hard, like you feel that the music was written and sung by people who know where the lines on my face came from, for they have the same scars. This is a Deserted Island album for me, because it's one of the best emotions-into-songs albums I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot- trust me).

This was the Star Trek universe at it's uttermost best. The best cast, the best writing, the best stories, the best comedy, etc.
Don't get me wrong. The previous Treks were great as well, but they were more chained to the original canon than DS9 was, and they were set free to do great things. Avery Brooks was brilliant! Sorry folks- he's the best, imo.
It's easy to compare DS9 to Babylon 5 (I believe they were both on at nearly the same time and both had vaguely similar story arcs). Apples and oranges. Both shows deserve to be watched until one's eyes bleed (in a good way).

Not many movies hold up well over time, let alone improve with age. This movie fits the bill. Gene Wilder's performance was a masterpiece. His rendition of Pure Imagination should be in a musical hall of Fame. Just a fun movie - period.

A very good, fun, movie with a cast straight out of a twisted Newheart episode. Definitely will watch it again. I'll even put it up there with Zombieland for quality and originality.

Takes the traditional Christmas Carol, and puts it on it's head. Fantastic. Lots of room for character expansion, with Pierce an Serkis providing a powerful punch to a well written, and well acted, film. It shouldn't be compared to other Christmas Carols, but stand separate as a film that dares to be different, but with the spirit of Dickens more than intact. I'll be adding this to my Christmas vault.
